I recently went on the hiking tour in the large nature reserve just on the outskirts of the city. Our guide rene was informative before hand on the itinerary and what we needed to bring. The morning started with a nice soft treck through the forests with a gradual climb to a nice view point over a lake. As we went deeper into the nature reserve rene our guide took us away from the main trails that others were walking along and he knew the best routes of the beaten track to try and spot some of the local wildlife. After a small break for swedish fika overlooking stunning views. We than trecked on more into the reserve and more steep climb to get to high view points for our lunch break. Lunch was cooked by rene on an open fire. Very delicious and healthy with great fresh ingredients. After lunch the remaining walk was very relaxed downhill and again some great view points and time to also soak up the sun in the afternoon before leaving the nature reserve for short trip back to the city centre.

The three-day tour was an unforgettable experience, highly recommended! Stunning scenery, untouched nature, tranquility, herons, seals, and even several sea eagles were spotted. The tents, sleeping bags, and self-inflating sleeping mats were easy to handle, comfortable, and new; we slept well. Our experienced guide took wonderful care of us and everything, responding flexibly to the weather and the group's wishes. We were able to start the day carefree and thoroughly enjoy the tour. René provided us with incredibly good food, including hot meals, fresh vegetables, fruit, and salad. We couldn't have been better looked after. The absolute highlight: the burger buffet with "pimientos del padrón," pan-fried over the campfire, eaten with a view of the sunset at the other end of the bay. Heavenly!! If you want to explore the "archipelago," the outermost archipelago, you should book this tour.
