Jureskogs — Restaurant in Sundsvall Municipality

I and my group tried this together today. It is the first and probably last for us, as even though the ingredients are of good quality, the price does not make up for the experience to us. The burger itself was no hooray, just eating the patty would have been the same to be fair.

Food: The meat was good, and all food was warm and fresh. Neither the best or worse burger i have had. However, to us it was way too greasy, making it feel a bit cheaper than intended, and feeling a bit nasous by the grease after a while.

Environment: The restaurant felt very impersonal, industrial and the seats (sofa) was uncomfortable and hard. I suppose they don't want people staying there for too long (as they market and brand themselves as fast food) yet I prefer sitting on something comfortable, even if just for a short while. A lot of "natural" elements creates an "eco vibe".

Staff: Nothing to complain about. They're doing their job and seemed engaged in it!

Price: A bit expensive for what it is.

You can also order alcohol to your food. Didn't see anyone with wine and burgers though. 🍷🥂

To add: the original dipsauce was not good at all; it tasted like mashed pickles and cream. Can't...

The food gets 4 stars, the taste is great, the quality of the ingredients (specially the cheese) and the final product (specially the juicy patties) are great, however the portions are too small, and the bread/bun was not up to the level of everything else, Id really appreciate the classic white bread buns with sesame seeds for this burgers instead, then regardless of the portions sizes I’d give the five stars to the food, cause you can always order more hehe.

Now, the restaurant installations are very nice and clean, but the best was the kindness of the personal we had a small dog with us and we got to take him inside with us, the staff was always smiling and welcoming, great service attitude. Jag besöker Jureskogs en tidig förmiddag, restaurangen är tom på gäster. Jag har inga förväntningar, de blandade recensionerna har givit mig ett splittrat intryck. Lokalen går i en sober färgskala, lite opersonligt men fräscht och funktionellt. Vid entrén finns en beställningsautomat, jag saknar målande beskrivningar av varje meny och får söka information i ingredienslistan, i övrigt är det enkelt att komponera ihop en komplett måltid. Jag väljer High five på svensk mjölkko, tryffelaioli, karamelliserad lök, rostad lök, saltgurka, tryffelcheddar och hamburgerost ifrån Väddö Gårdsmejeri, färska grönsaker och Pepsi Max. Jag betalar och inom kort är min meny serverad. Det är en synbart liten hamburgare, men intrycket är lite missvisande. Jag lyfter på burgaren, den är välmatad och tung. Köttet är föredömligt rosastek och saftigt. Köttsmaken är djup och aromatisk från umami, det känns att det är ett kvalitativt kött. Tryffelaiolin ger en omedelbar arom av tryffel, smaken klingar av och ersätts snart av ett komplex sammelsurium av karamelliserad lök, rostad lök, saltgurka, tryffelcheddar och hamburgerost. Det är en smaklig upplevelse, och trots att hamburgaren till storleken inte imponerar är det en lyckosam förening. De färska grönsakerna är krispiga, väl kylda och härligt grova, och därtill så mycket fräschare än pommes frites. Läsken serveras med fyra istärningar och inte halva muggen fylld med is, sympatiskt om än jag föredragit att själv få välja is eller inte.
