Restaurant Pizzeria Wilhelm Tell — Restaurant in Altdorf (UR)

We had a good experience at this restaurant. The food was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and approachable. The tall waitress who wears eyeglasses initially came across as rude and impolite, but she became friendlier as time passed, perfectly understandable if she was having a long day or not feeling well. In general the staff were kind and approachable.

The restaurant itself was very clean, and the toilets were spotless, which is always appreciated. It’s also one of the few restaurants open on Sundays in the area, making it a real day-saver.

The burger was great, though the fries could have been larger, thicker, and more generous in portion. The salad and bread were good, and the mushroom bruschetta was great. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it felt like a comfortable place to spend time with friends or family.

A good restaurant, fast and attentive and friendly service. A reservation is recommended. We were lucky and managed to grab the last table on Saturday. However, the risotto was the only thing that wasn't really tasty. Somehow it seemed bland and the taste was far away from the other dishes. But all in all, recommendable. PAGARE E NON MANGIARE! sono stato questa sera 8 agosto 2021 e premesso che vado spesso in questo ristorante e ho sempre mangiato bene, questa sera non era presente il capo, e si vedeva purtroppo. Abbiamo ordinato 2 antipasti carpaccio di manzo e io ho chiesto se era possibile avere una piccola pizza come antipasto ma mi è stato risposto di no potevano farmi solo un pizzabrot e io ho detto va bene. Arriva il carpaccio e dopo 15 minuti la mia pizzabrot ancora non era arrivata chiamo la cameriera e mi dice che c'è stato un problema con la cucina OK dopo poco arriva la mangio. Come secondi abbiamo una pizza quattro stagioni e una tagliata di manzo, arrivano dopo poco e la mia tagliata di manzo è completamente stracotta un pezzo di gomma, la mando indietro e dico che non voglio piu nulla. Chiedo il conto e con mia sorpresa devo pagare anche la tagliata di manzo che non ho mangiato... incredibile... chiedo spiegazioni e mi dicono che siccome non ne ho voluta un'altra devo comunque pagarla.... veramente dei LADRI. Peccato era uno dei miei posti preferiti per mangiare ma dopo questa maleducazione dei camerieri penso che non ci tornerò più... NON C'ERA IL CAPO E...
