I’ve visited this restaurant a few times with my family over the years since we live near by. We have fond memories and enjoyed coming back to the brunch, with the exception of our most recent visit. We made a reservation for 8 people a month in advance for my father’s 60th birthday celebration. We came into the restaurant with 2 separate tables of 4 reserved, which is not what we asked for. Having 3 children 6 and under, this didn’t work for our situation. After all, a birthday is meant to be celebrated as a family, together. The staff was then unkind when we offered a solution they didn’t like and had poor attitudes the entire time of our visit. Especially the only gentleman on staff in the brunch, the morning of 27/04/2025. The atmosphere seemed very toxic and unkind from majority of the service members on that particular day. Thankfully, the waitress taking care of our table was decent. The food was great but I was so unimpressed with the experience, I’ll be searching for a new spot to have a...

They don't even deserve a single star. My wife is pregnant and sat for 2 min on one of their tables to rest. The response is a rude waiter telling us to leave the table in what seems to be a completely empty restaurant and wait in a bar stool instead. When I explained that we would leave anyway, he insisted that we leave immediately in a rude attitude. Anyway, I go inside to check the menu in case there's something suitable that we can eat while resting, and yet another waitress tells me to go out independent of the earlier incident. This is so disrespectful and inappropriate in a beautiful location like this. They are clearly taking advantage of the touristic location, as most people will not come for a second time anyway. I cannot find any way to describe the attitude we've faced here....

Interesting experience in a touristy place! Tall, short hair Lady with kinda rude and aggressive attitude. We felt pretty shocked about her behavior. Full stressed waitress with an Eastern European accent just comment questions such grumpy and unmotivated? Best greetings to the lady which prepare the drinks. If you hate tourist and the place you working please quit and leave. We paying lot of money for holidays in Switzerland🇨🇭 Best age waitress talks with natives, let used dishes on the table behind. Food was ok. High price segment tho. Hospitality is in this restaurant definitely not welcomed 🤔 The cave and whole area is magical and beautifully and would be better with warm welcome...

There is only one restaurant at the top of the waterfall near the cave, offering several food and drink options. While their food is only standard, they charge quite high prices. I believe that the high prices are not just for the food, but also for the view. Located high in the mountains, you can choose to sit outdoors or indoors near the window to enjoy the stunning view of Lake Thun with the Swiss Alps in the background. They have plenty of seating, so the staff won't rush you as you enjoy your meal or drink while taking in the view.

Best thing about this place is the view. After that it goes downhill. The short hair tall lady manager is very rude and needs to learn hospitality. We only asked if we can sit outside to eat as it was very sunny but the way she replied was completely unacceptable. The other server one with glasses was very good. Food for the price wasnt worth at all and very small portions. Wouldn’t recommend but its the only restaurant option there. Suggest short drive to Interlaken where there are lot of options.
