Ok food, really cheap, really stressed staff.

The offer only one vegetarian meal (Käseschnitte, bread with melted cheese) but I could easily order a Rösti without the meat. They even gave me a cheaper price because it was without meat. This was really refreshing as most other restaurants don’t give a discount for ordering without meat. The Rösti was more cheese than Rösti (maybe some people prefer this but I didn’t) and was really big. My colleagues Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu were also really big. The price is really great. I would recommend eating there if you don’t want to spend a lot of money and have enough to eat. Also if you search for a "gutbürgerliche Küche".

The downside was the waiting time. We waited a long time and tables that ordered after us got their food first. The only waitress was stressed the whole time and ordering something took a long time. I wouldn’t go in there again. It wasn’t that bad but...

Came here because I read that this place had the best Cordon Bleu in Bern. It was decent but the portions were massive. I could’ve split my plate alone with another person easily. The chicken schnitzel my wife ordered was very dry but the flavor was good. We felt like it needed some additional sauce or gravy (although I don’t think that’s traditional). The biggest downside is that I asked for my bill over 35 minutes ago and am still waiting just to pay after asking the waitress twice. Huge portions. Seriously big portions for the price. I think thats the main reason it deserves a 4. Had the vesl schnitzel and the pork cordon bleu. Nothing too amazing. Fried stuff that tastes decent. Taste itself is maybe a 3. The indian woman also wasnt too friendly. The other guys were pretty nice and friendly.
