My favourite stop between Geneva and the Swiss Slopes of Zermatt, Glacier 3000, Verbier, etc. I always get the 'Ramequin au fromage' and a cup of delicious Swiss coffee

If you stop here, take the time to walk up the little hill to the playground, which has some exercise equipment and a lovely view over Lausanne and Lake Geneva. You can almost see the Smoke on the Water that Deep Purple saw and sang about so many years ago.

This airway area has a great area, with a nice sightseeing outside on the lake. There are games for children but unfortunately they are supposedly “closed” (although there is nothing stopping you from going anyway...).

The area has one mini market, one Burger King and one traditional self-service. This last one will often propose traditional Swiss dishes, generally with cheese and ham. Before the pandemic there were free newspapers at your disposal but now they are gone.

Tip: The toilets are not free, but they are reimbursed with a voucher once you buy something, so you ought to go to the toilets BEFORE...

Very nice rest stop perfect for children including nice play tables with Legos in full parents view next to restaurant tables, and even comes with a comfy couch in front of a TV playing children's programs and cartoons. Also, the kids loved the burger king while adults can eat wholesome cooked meals at the proper restaurant right nest to it. Wide open high-ceilinged dining area with glass wall-to-wall views of the country side. One of my favorite Autogrills in all of Switzerland.
