Le Guillaume Tell — Restaurant in Bourg-en-Lavaux

I've made a reservation via email and ordered the Menu Degustation (on their Website there is one at CHF 83 and one at CHF 97). At the table they asked us if we want 7 or 9 courses, we ordered 7 (the card menu was not handed out to us). In the end they charged us CHF 138 for the Menue Carte Blanche. I was only aware of that when I was at home. I've send an email for an explanation why they served us something else what we initially ordered and how they explain the price difference of CHF 41 for one single dish (difference between Menu Degustation and Menu Carte blanche). The owner was very rude and did not want to admit any mistake from their side. This is also the reason why I write this review - at least he could have apologized that the service lady was not transparent to us and sold us a different menu what we have ordered. Moreover, they did not accept Amex, although all Michelin Restaurants accept Amex (did report it to the credit card company). Last but not least the location is old and not well maintained, upholstering of chairs not existent anymore since the chairs are from last century, the paint is peeling off, walls are dirty etc. Not at all what I call a Michelin Star experience. A very nice and cozy "hide away" place in the middle of beautiful UNESCO vineyards of Lavaux. Food is really good and the staff super friendly. They have a very nice selection of wines, champagnes only the big and most common houses. I was tempted to give 5 stars, but only thing what made me change my mind, was the long waiting time between the dishes, but maybe that was because it was the last lunch before the general lockdown.
