Enjoyed dinner at this restaurant for an anniversary. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the "Les Platanes" menu with one entree for CHF69. My husband had foie gras as an entree and the beef tartare as a main. Everything was beautifully presented and so yummy. Ambiance is fancy-ish, with candlesticks, heavy curtains and lots of artificial flowers. Would definitely recommend for special occasions.

Ce restaurant est un mélange parfait d'élégance, de savoir faire, de gentillesse et de simplicité. L'on s'y sent tout de suite bien, l'accueil est si chaleureux! Nous y retournons avec un plaisir renouvelé chaque fois, que ce soit dans le côté "bistrot", ou dans les magnifiques et cosy salles de restaurant, ou encore sur la belle terrasse. Des fleurs splendides font partie du charme de l'Auberge des Platanes, où tout est soigné. Personnellement j'adore les filets de perche du Léman, avec mes frites préférées, croquantes et fines; mais tous les plats de la carte, y compris ceux qui varient avec les saisons, sont succulents et beaux, et très frais. Sans oublier le choix de bons vins. L'Auberge Les Platanes à Chéserex est une véritable bonne addresse! Genève, le 22 août 2018

We had our dinner here. A very friendly welcoming place.  All personnel were very well trained and helpful specially the restaurant owners they were so nice. Food was delicious service was perfect. Highly recommended.

Best food in this region... a little more expensive than most but well worth the extra.

The owners and servers are all very warm and welcoming. The decor is done with great taste

For years has been my favourite. Big terrace in summer and cosy in winter.

The steak tartare here is the best ive tasted, all done in front of you so you can choose what you want and dont want.

Has become our birthday restaurant...
