A wonderful place to start the day. The croissants are fresh and buttery, the espresso is strong and smooth. The restaurant fills up with locals in the morning — chatting, laughing, catching up — giving the whole place a lively, welcoming energy.

The atmosphere is relaxed but full of life, like a true part of the town’s morning rhythm. The service is genuinely friendly, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable — even sharing a kind smile and a moment with our baby. This is the second time we have been here- once in a visit in 2018- and now with our trip from Canada to Locarno. This was restaurant close to our hotel, provided great service- delicious, reasonably priced food. Unter dem Namen Borenco werden aneinander angrenzend ein Cafe und ein Restaurant betrieben.

Bäckerei, Cafe: Gute Auswahl an frischen Broten und Gebäck, freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.

Das Restaurant hingegen wäre ein Fall für Bumann, Rach und Ramsay. Gnocchi und Sauce stammen offensichtlich aus der Konserve und leider nicht mal aus der guten. Der Reibkäse kommt in eingeschweissten Portionen aus dem Grossverteiler.
