Ristorante Bar Antico Pozzo — Restaurant in Circolo della Navegna

My husband and I traveled to Switzerland for our honeymoon from the US and stopped for a couple nights in Minusio, where we found Andrea at Ristorante Antico Pozzo. Andrea was so kind and funny and the food was amazing. You can tell it is made with love, and you can hear him in the kitchen preparing it after you order. It was so good, we even went back the second night! We tried the chicken, lasagna, gnocchi aurora, and steak. All dishes were so delicious, especially the chicken, which sadly we forgot to get a photo of. It was a half roast chicken with perfectly crispy skin in an amazing sauce. When we told him we were from Texas, he came out in his cowboy hat which he put on me for the photo! Andrea, thank you very much!! We will remember these...

Tutte le volte che abbiamo mangiato il pollo al cestello e la fondue erano da leccarsi i baffi! Salsa del pollo squisita a dir poco! Carne ben cotta. Pure i dessert sono deliziosi. Il menù è come dovrebbero averlo altri ristoranti, non troppi piatti ma gli ingredienti usati sono freschi, la qualità di come vengono cucinati è superiore e si sente al palato. Il prezzo lo trovo corretto, alcuni potrebbero dire alto, ma tutti questi fattori (freschezza, qualità, impegno, etc... ) è giusto pagarli a dovere. Si vede la passione dei gerenti nel fare il loro mestiere: allegri, ti accolgono come se fossi un parente e ti fan sentire a tuo agio, generosi con le porzioni, rapidi nel servire, attenti e puliti.
