Casa Cruna — Restaurant in Disentis/Mustér

Delicious food, I've tried both their pizzas and pasta dishes and they have never disappointed. Great size in portioning - so much so that I've never been able to finish my meal. If you are coming in to leave with a full stomach you're at the right place. As for service, as much as I would like to give it a positive review I don’t know how to. It is a bit slow in fact. Every time I come in, the house would have a max of 3 to 4 tables busy and yet would take 5m to bring an extra cola or completely forget my request. I've visited a total of 4 times, and 3/4, my drinks would either be wrong, forgotten or brought to the table much later. We decided to have a spontaneous lunch in Disentis to take a break from the train and walked passed this restaurant. Even so we entered five minutes before the kitchen closes the waitress rushed our order through and we got an awesome lunch which tasted like they took their time. As well the "hauswein", a local Riesling, was amazing and belongs among the best Rieslings I've had thus far. Das restaurant macht einen gemuetlichen eindruck und das personal arbeitet tuechtig. Doch leider besitzt dieses, mit ausnahme des wirtes, nicht die faehigkeit, angemessen auf eine beanstandung zu reagieren. Als ich der wirtin beim einkassieren sagte, ihr caffee sei schlecht, da erwiderte sie barsch, das stimme nicht, alle seien mit ihrem caffee zufrieden und rannte davon. Als ich nochmals einen versuch machte, mit ihr ins gespraech zu kommen, ging die verweigerungshaltung weiter. Da sagte ich, das sei keine art, mit einem gast umzugehen. Sie tiggerte vielmehr wie eine gestochene tarantel umher und gab ihrem mann keine chance, mit mir normal zu reden. Das restaurant hat eine vollautomatische kaffeemaschine, welche den schlechten kaffee herstellt. Darueber wollte ich reden. Spaeter sprach ich mit einer anderen wirtin darueber und sie sagte mir, man muesse eine derartige maschine nur richtig einstellen. Schade, dass das sonst tuechtige personal die soziale kompetenz nicht besitzt und auf eine vorgetragene beanstandung wie eine beleidigte leberwurst reagiert.
