Xiang Yu Asia Spezialitäten Restaurant — Restaurant in Disentis/Mustér

The restaurant is owned by a husband and wife team. She takes care of the front of the house and he is in the kitchen.

The food is really surprisingly good given the location - great authentic chinese food.

4 weeks into a european roadtrip, we ended up eating there 3 times in the 3 days we were in Sedrun.

The dishes that stood out for us was the crispy duck, roast duck, mapo tofu, beef in chilli sauce, hot and sour soup.

I saw another post complaining about prices - this is more affordable than most restaurants in the area. (This is Switzerland)The resto is open until 11pm which was also great for us since we arrived late on our first day.

We were very excited to try Chinese food in Switzerland but very dissatisfied with the food. We tried the curry chicken with potatoes and coconut milk. It was not fresh and the potatoes were mashed? Not much flavor either. We also tried the chicken with chili and chilisauce. We must have been misunderstood as there was no sauce?? We also tried the fried wontons which were tasty but lacked anything in them. To top it off, it was expensive. The white rice did not come with the entrees so by itself it was 5 euro. Rice...5 euro? Our bill was over 100 euro and just too much for what...

I recommend it to people who have time to spare. We came to the restaurant, we got the menu cards. The waitress didn't ask us about drinks and food for a good 40 minutes. It was not crowded (4 tables). In the end we got up and went to eat kebab. There is a good kebab...
