My husband and I stayed at this hotel as it was recommended by the GPR 2018 conference. We enjoyed dinners in the restaurant and drinks at the bar at this place with a splendid sunset view. The room we stayed in was facing the railway lines and could get noisy if you kept your windows open. Friendly and attentive staff greet you everytime you walk in to the hotel even if they are busy. Great housekeeping staff I must add. Bonus points for a huge carpark. It is a distance from the Hurden train station but a lovely walk using the walking path. Read moreGoing there regularly to catch up with a friend from Glarus. The service people are very friendly and normally the food is excellent for a reasonable price. Last time though I decided to enjoy a venison stew called "Rehpfeffer" once in a while. I love the strong taste of the red wine sauce with tender meat pieces, normally soaked from the sauce. But unfortunately the meat was very dry instead! I also missed the normally added silverskin onions and thin strips of bacon in the sauce.
