Tea-room Suard Le Chantilly — Restaurant in Fribourg - Freiburg

Just bought an eclair with them and the lady said we could sit outside or at the tea room to eat that. After getting a place upstairs at the tea room, the lady serving there (young, white and black hair) told us that (me and my husband) that we couldn’t stay there unless buying a drink (even though i had bought already the sweets with them). Great way on maintaining clients, for sure I wouldn’t go back to this place...

The tea room is found above a bakery and is light and agreeable. The inerior is a bit dated now, a sort of 1980s flowery homly but apart from that the service, food and drinks are well served by friendly staff. I like the madras spiced tea they serve and the location in the centre of town very convienient. There is also a bar at the back but I havn't visited it as I am always...

Cependant, nous sommes venus manger ce midi et nous avons simplement posé la question de la taille de la salade pour décider entre grande et petite. Je m'attendais à ce que la serveuse me montre avec les mains grosse modo. Au lieu de ça, elle me répond sèchement "ben c'est à vous de savoir comment vous avez faim". Dans le doute, je prends la grande. Sa collègue, adorable, arrive et me dit "vous savez, je trouve que la petite suffit bien". Je lui réponds "alors volontiers si vous pouvez changer". Et là, j'entends la première qui s'énerve en parlant de moi d'une manière que je ne pensais pas possible. Déjà en arrivant, quand nous avons demandé s'il y avait de la place en haut, elle nous a répondu sur un ton agressif "j'en sais rien moi, vous n'avez qu'à aller voir".

Elle est encore venue bouger mon verre en mettant ses doigts où je buvais alors qu'il était plein.

Je n'ai jamais vu quelqu'un détester autant travailler. Et si elle n'aime pas les gens, peut-être choisir un autre métier...
