Les Trentenaires — Restaurant in Fribourg - Freiburg

The bar's effort to stand out is appreciable, yet it still lacks remarkable features or standout qualities.

While they offer a decent beer selection (about 15 on the tap), it's served only in small glasses. The menu being a website detracts from the in-person experience, and seeking recommendations from the unhelpful waitress can be frustrating due to her lack of knowledge and attitude. The atmosphere is decent for a casual time, but overall, the place feel a bit dull and generic.

Now in a somewhat dull and limited hangout scene of Fribourg, this spot stands out as one of the better choices for a midweek drink.

EDIT (for the owner): Fribourg (that I love!) has long settled for mediocrity, with early closure times (no food service after 21:00, clubs closing at 3am on weekends, popular bars limited or shut down due to noise complaints). Good drinks, calm place.

The online card is for me not the ideal as it kind of kills the bar experience, however there is a very big variety proposed at the bar and the waiters were sympathetic, even at a rush hour.

Felt for me a bit more like a gathering spot a bit less designed for young people, which is not usually what I like when I go in a bar.

The cocktail I ordered (basil smash) was very good and I'd say worth the 15chf as I never tasted something quite like it :)

Overall good experience and would recommend to maybe hang out, enjoy niche beers or...

La serveuse présente en terrasse le samedi 4 mai aux alentours de 21h00 a été très désagréable et son comportement irrespectueux.

Nous attendions depuis un bon moment et mon ami s’est permis de commander au bar en passant aux toilettes.

Elle s’est présentée à ma table pour prendre commande, je lui ai indiqué que mon ami a surement commandé à l’intérieur. Elle m’a répondu « Et moi je sers à quoi ? » froidement avant de me tourner le dos.

A son retour, mon ami demande poliment un cendrier et elle le lui a presque balancé sur la table comme un à malpropre.

Lorsque nous avons tenté de demander l’addition, elle a fait mine de ne pas nous entendre et nous a ignoré, nous avons finalement payé via les codes QR sur la table.

C’est un comportement déplorable et non-professionnel. Il y a assez d’étudiants à Fribourg à la recherche d’un job et qui seront surement beaucoup plus qualifiés qu’elle.

Il y avait pas mal de monde sur la terrasse et tout le monde passait un bon moment, j’ai donc eu la décence de me contenir et de ne pas m’expliquer directement avec elle.

Je n’ai jamais vu une serveuse se comporter ainsi avec des clients. Si elle n’a pas le mental pour assumer ce métier qui est certes difficile, elle devrait se trouver un job où il n’y a pas de contact direct avec le client.
