The place is not that big, and it is always full, even on weekdays, so it's always a good idea to reserve a table, especially if you plan on going in a group. The menu is ripe with choices: meat, fish, pasta, pizza, veggies, offering some timeless Italian classics and some dishes mixed with a more Swiss tradition. But the real queen of the menu is their pizza. It's possibly the best Italian pizza I have tasted here in Geneva, baked in a wood oven, soft where it needs to be soft and crunchy where it's supposed to be crunchy, full of flavour, full of options for toppings. A note regarding a wonderful thing for coeliacs and people intolerant to gluten: they make, by far, THE best gluten free pizza I have ever tried, following a personal pizza dough recipe by their own chef. There are also gluten free options for pasta. To top it off, they serve a few fantastic desserts. All this keeping the prices more than honest, especially considering how expensive a city like Geneva can be. I cannot recommend...

They have great vegetarian dishes and good deserts which suit my needs and good solid classical specialities. The hygiene is impeccable. The seats are not very comfortable but then this is often the case in restaurants and the tables are near each other so this doesn't afford much privacy. The only caveat for me is that it is not cheap but there are many Italian restaurants in Geneva which are frankly mediocre and one easily spends say 30-50 francs per person without wine so all said and done I think that the quality of the food...
Read moreUpon our late arrival at the restaurant, we were pleased that they accommodated us with food options. Opting for two oven-baked pasta dishes: the homemade lasagna and penne del vesuvio, proved to be an excellent choice, with the latter offering a delightful touch of spiciness. I recommend pairing the lasagna with bread to ensure no sauce is left untouched. Our bill, including a bottle of rose wine, amounted to 88 CHF, a reasonable price considering the exceptional food. Despite the overly bright spotlights diminishing the romantic ambiance, the overall warmth of the restaurant in winter was appreciated. I look forward to returning...
