Restaurant Pizzeria Bellevue — Restaurant in Ittigen

Pretty good pizzeria close to Bern Ittigen. The food was generally good, with a decent choice on the menu. Nice interior, liked the restaurant entrance where you pass next to the pizza oven. Nice big terrace for the summer months. Service was friendly and very chatty, but also, unfortunately, lacked some concentration (forgot salad dressing, let twice something from the table fall on the floor, reversed a drink on the table). Service and food was fine but it was disappointing that when we asked to share a large pizza (23.50f) we were told we had to order two small pizzas (42F)! We have eaten far and wide and sharing a large pizza is universally accepted (unless it is fine dining which it is not).Our salad to share was brought with no small plates to eat from. We paid (95f) for our casual evening out - with pre dinner drink and wine - and I think we deserved a plate...

This is the best meal I've tasted in the Bern area in the past 6 years I've lived here. My husband had the Cordon blue with pan fried potatoes and I had the Schnitzel with the mushroom gravy and pan fried potatoes. The gravy was homemade and unbelievably amazing as was the whole meal.
