Cozy ambience and decor Warm service personnel and great service The food was really top notch, freshly prepared bio/organic meat which melts in your mouth! (Our menu was bio but not sure if all the menus have bio meat) The price is very competitive for the quality considering most of the produce is sourced locally from the region and are mostly "bio/organic"! Roughly 60% of their products are bio/ organic and they plan to receive a certification soon.

Wait times for the main menu were a little long but the end result was excellent so one can't really complain!

Wir waren am Samstag zum ersten Mal Gast und es war nicht nur eine wunderbare kulinarische Reise!

Schon die Begrüssung am Anfang ist wärmend und herzlich, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Das Ambiente im Restaurant spiegelt die Liebe zum Detail, welches Jessica, Michael und ihr Team leben.

Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken versprechen ein wunderbares Erlebnis, welches wir mit dem "Chefs Choice" antraten. Hier kann zwischen einem Drei-, oder einem Viergänger Überraschungsmenu gewählt werden. Passend dazu gäbe es auch zu jedem Gang eine Weinbegleitung. Wir wünschten jedoch je eine Flasche Weiss- und Rotwein. Jessica war sofort in Ihrem Element und unser Wunsch wurde sofort mit einer vorgängigen Bedarfsanalyse in die Tat umgesetzt. Die beiden Weine waren perfekt ausgewählt und wurden ebenfalls «blind» serviert – so konnte bis zum Schluss nicht nur genossen, sondern auch geraten werden. Die Küche um Michael lieferte ebenfalls zu 200% ab. Die Idee, die Finesse, das komplette Geschmacksbild jedes Tellers war sensationell. Hier spürt man das Verständnis für die Produkte, die mehr als gekonnt eingesetzt werden. Die Moderne wird dabei perfekt mit dem klassischen Verschmolzen. Das dabei noch zwei Runden, vor und nach dem Service, vom Küchenchef bei den Gästen drin liegen, zeugt nicht nur von Interesse, sondern auch Professionalität.

We were visiting Jenins and only popped in to Restaurant Rätia for a coffee. However, we had such a good impression of the surroundings and friendly service. The fresh bouillon with Speckknödel was the best I ever ate. For dessert, I chose a small Rätia Coupe. Although I'm not overly fond of icecream, the coupe was delicious.
