Restaurant Schlossgarten — Restaurant in Kilchberg (ZH)

I am Swiss who took a group of international colleagues to this place for an evening meal. Although the setting was nice the serivce was very slow and atmosphere unwelcoming. The food was good. However, when we came to pay the bill I was ashamed to be Swiss. The waiter explained that they charged 6 CHF for a litre of tap water and proceeded to add 2 lires to each bill [not on the menu]! I paid for two people and my bill should have been 72 CHF [I checked after] but was overcharged by 12 CHF [the water again or maybe a toilet flush]. Does the Patron know this is happening? Very, very disppointing image for a restaurant...

Deeply disappointed with unfriendly staff, not even looking at you when bringing the food to you, moving so fast between the tables. One of the worst lasagna that I have ever had, it was burnt, and tasteless. We were also misinformed during the reservation that there was a parking place available. But worst of all, while we tried paying the bill with the ING card, the waiter whispered an offensive remark in German against Hollanders !! only because the pin card machine was not responding well at the moment. Very impatient and impolite attitude. It’s a pity in such a lovely place decorated cosily you get...

The place to go if no other option left. l've been there during lunchtime on a weekday. The menu/products are rather ok (except for the coffee that was really bad), but nothing spectacular. Service however was the worst. Late with taking order and bringing the check. The waiter was really rude as he mentioned he prefers cash instead of card. When paid he was asking if the bancknote is valid...I was not sure if he was joking or not... however he was...
