This restaurant is supposedly the best "Japanese restaurant" in Lausanne on trip advisor. Let's make it clear, it is a Chinese restaurant with disgusting Japanese food (bad quality sushi) and acceptable/good Chinese food. Although 60% of their big menu is Japanese food... They don't follow the same Covid rules of entry to the restaurant as do all other restaurants in Switzerland. So basically if you are a fully vaccinated tourist with a recognised vaccine in Switzerland you can't enter there ( so we ate on the terrace) Service: super slow service they left us with the menu for 30min and the waiting time even for drinks was unbelievable. + They gave us 4 times dishes we didn't order: MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE BILL AT THE END. Service: They were very kind, they speak French, English and of course Chinese. We order in advance so our food was almost ready and it came in a few minutes.
Food: we had several tofu dishes. I am not a big fan of tofu but this one was very tasty and we'll cooked. The salt pepper fried tofu is recommended. Spicy aubergines was also nice. But probably the best was the breaded spicy Calamari. Duck was also very tasty. Dessert was Mochi, sticky 🍚
This is a place I would repeat for Asian food. It is better to...
