Food is good (but don't stand out) and service is quick. However, after we discovered a hair in the pizza, the restaurant simply took away the pizza, and charged the full amount without any explanation. When asked, the owner shrugged and said "perhaps it's your own hair.*" You can imagine how much they must value the kitchen hygiene...!
There are other Italian restaurants within 500 meters, I see no reason why you should settle for this place.
It's a small dark brown hair, could likely come from *anyone with dark hair. Agree that it is hard to trace where it comes from, but simply shrugging it off and accusing your customer is NOT acceptable.
We visited the restaurant more than 15 times, so failed to see why we should tolerate such disrespectful accusations/responses.
15 Aug update - The professionalism and the attitude of the owner is now obvious with his reply. We flagged the discovery of the hair when there was 1/3 of the pizza left. The owner charged us the FULL pizza without even giving the pizza back and there is also just no explanation given. Effectively, the customer lost 1/3 of the pizza just because there is a hair in the pizza!? Impeccable logic and service!
As mentioned, we had been to this restaurant many times before this incident. Why we would attempt a free meal on a regular visit!? How would the owner come up with such a accusation? We have NEVER even asked for a refund but this accusation is apparently all we got.
The hair is dark brown, rather than blonde. It was short, could potentially be a freshly grown hair from a dark hair person in the summer. How many of the staff touched that plate before it reached our table for the owner to establish that biased assumption? Furthermore, the ability to escalate that inaccurate assumption into an accusations that customers are lurching for free meal, rather than reflecting on the kitchen hygiene, says a lot about the character of this restaurant.
Perhaps the owner could be right, I am spending so much time unveiling hygiene and service issues because I am desperate for a free CHF 21 pizza.
For fellow consumers - be careful of all the additional hygiene and emotional 'value' you might receive as a part of your truly unforgettable experience at Restaurant...

This restaurant is a gem in the Geneva-area dining scene. Between the heartfelt, authentic cuisine, the gracious service, and the relaxed but elegant setting, it’s a restaurant you’ll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking for excellent meal in a comfortable, welcoming environment. Prices are very convenient.
Thanks for being so...
Read moreI cannot but share the enthusiasm about this place! The food was really authentic and as an Italian myself I don’t say that lightly. The pastas were great and the menu has so much choice that I want to get back and try the rest of the options: all having an area of traditional Italy mixed with something unexpected! Staff was also very kind and that’s for sure a plus. The physical place per se and the deco is nothing too special … which though leaves the place a cosy family-friendly charm. Would have invested a little more in the dessert menu … quite basic! Net, loved the food-...
