Du Pont — Restaurant in Meiringen

Went there two weeks ago and was shocked by the grumpy waitress. According to reviews I was expecting friendly service but this must have changed since the last review. I do speak the local language which helped me to at least get my food but other non-german speaking tourists were basically sent away again (even though the restaurant was nearly empty).

Food was great! Price was reasonable. I too initially had the same feeling about the service - seemed blunt and unfriendly - but she warmed up to us after a while :).
