Brasserie du Poisson — Restaurant in Milvignes

It looked as a good restaurant but what a disappointment. First of all it’s name tells that it is a fish restaurant but there were no local fish on the menu. The prices were equivalent to Lausanne or another big towns. The salad you can see on my pictures was 10 sfr, the dry veal about 32sfr. This is place on the country side. The quality in comparison to what I got it’s a no,no! Honestly it’s a pity as the quality of the meat was very much ok. But the way it was done ....

We went there a couple of times but on our last visit the service was absolutely poor. The elderly waiter was very arrogant, brought us the wrong food and simply moved the plates to some other guests after we complained. We had filet de perches like many times before but only got a small serve of sauce... it felt like a payback for our complaint. It's very disappointing to experience such a careless attitude considering the prices charged in...

A decent restaurant, fish and especially lobster and the soup are truly amazing. Dessert was a bit disappointing for me (but I'm a patissiere) choux eas clearly dry though, in the profiterole.
