I'm sorry to say the quality of the food isn't enough to compensate for the overall bad experience, especially the reaaaally long wait times. (I went there twice, gave them a second chance after the first time: will not be going a third time).
Short review: good food, but really long wait times, absent-minded staff, and overall too expensive for what it is.
Long review: Waiting time is horrible: we waited nearly an hour and a half for what turned out to be very simple plates that should've been done in 20 min. The entrees themselves took more than 30 min to arrive. Overall what should've been 1h30-2 hour max dinner took more than 3 hours and ruined our plans. Worse wait time of any place I've been to, and it was the same both times I went there. I could also tell by people's irritated faces that it was the same for the majority of the tables, not just us. It also took the staff over 20 min to go grab the card machine after bringing the check, even though the machine was literally 5 meters away. In that time they waited several tables and found the time to go have a drink with some of their friends at another table too... Staff isn't professional at all: Only 2 waiter for the whole place, one of which seems to be the boss, who seems more interested in chatting and hanging out with his return customers and having a drink with them than taking care of all the people waiting anxiously all around. The other staff did her best, but seemed to be spending most of her time hidden somewhere, so most of the time no one was minding the tables. They were courteous, but not really focused on what they're supposed to be doing either, and I could observe several mistakes all around. Food quality is a bit above average, but not exceptional either, at least not enough to justify being more expensive than other similar asian restaurants which are just as good yet cheaper. The plates and quantities are generous, but the way they are presented and arranged on the tables is very unpractical (which is usually the case in most restaurant, but even more noticeable in this one) Restaurant itself is okay, although the tables are really closes together. You have to bother people to pass between tables, and even waiters are having a hard time sometimes. The menu (the book you hold in your hand, not the range of food) is also very badly translated and does a very poor job of telling you what there is to eat. I spotted mislabeled dishes, and most of them have names that don't tell you what they are made of, so basically half the menu is useless unless a waiter is next to you to explain what it is, which of course is almost impossible since they have the ability to ignore you even when you wave at them several times. Too expensive overall. The same dish in a similar asian restaurant would cost between 1/2 to 3/4 the price in this one. Drinks are ridiculously overpriced too, and staff is too unprofessional.
I DO NOT recommend this place.
Instead, go to the other asian place 20 meters away inside the shopping mall in front of the restaurant. Staff is ok, food is already ready, generous and tasty, all for half the price and little or no...
Read more1 star because there isn’t a zero star option. The little Chinese woman “working”there is obviously bitter to be there, she is with a full mouth busy chewing something while ignoring the customers completely. Then she talks to the other one while everyone is waiting at the tables for their food. Some customers arrived and she kept them waiting ages at the door before rejecting them. Bad attitude bad service bad food. small and uncomfortable place. We won’t be coming back it’s not worth it. You spend nearly 1 hour before the either bland or extra salty food arrives cold. This woman should go back to where she may be happier she breaths out bitterness...
Read moreThis is a small Vietnamese restaurant in Morges, offering flavors that are truly authentic to southern Vietnam—no surprise, since the owner is from there. My favorite dish is the chicken with ginger, which is absolutely delicious.
The service is quick and very attentive. Even though I didn’t order water, they brought some to me anyway. When I frowned a little at the spiciness, they immediately noticed and kindly offered me milk to ease it. The waitress was so warm and thoughtful, and we even had a short, friendly chat that made me feel as if I were back in my home country.
I’ll definitely be coming back to...
