Slightly disappointing for Switzerland. Our grilled shrimp salad was mediocre at best. Overdressed & drowning in dressing and the (canned or jarred) shrimp was not well grilled or good tasting at all. Though in contrast, the hausgemacht wurst was very, very good. The service was excellent, friendly and professional. But...the prices are outrageous, even for Basel. Not a good value for our money on this day. Too expensive and hit or miss on the food. 1 salad, 1 wurst with potato fries & 1 liter of mineral water: $56 francs or $58 usd. #yikes. We think that the whole design of the overpriced restaurant and valuable car museum together are just another way for wealthy people to extract as much money as they can from the working class... Don't bother with either unless you have...

A local restaurant situated in the car museum, the interior design and all the vintage car parts are valuable assets themselves.

Ordered their Lachs Saltimbocca, which is pan fried salmon while there's a ham stick to the salmon, what a nice combination 😋

Absolut einmaliges und phantastisches Museum mit einer Autosammlung vom Besitzer Herrn Musfeld zusammengetragen und immer wieder mit speziellen Ausstellungen von und aus Leih-Fahrzeugen aufgepeppt. Daran angeschlossen eine ganz fantastische Werkstatt und darum herum auch andere Spezialwerkstätten für ältere Fahrzeuge. An der Kasse des Museums gibt es auch sehr viel sehr gute und auch sehr seltene Literatur zu kaufen, inklusive Automodelle in allen Größen. Wirklich sehr vorbildlich aufgebaut auch für Leute die von Autos nichts verstehen. Dazu hat es genügend Parkplätze rund um das Museum und ist von der Autobahn...
