Large new italian restaurant that opened last june and that is located in a new office building on the ground floor in a new office buildings park. This is the first restaurant in that area that is also open in de evening and for 7 days of the week.
We enjoyed a dinner this week at this restaurant on their large outside terras.
We ordered cocktails and took their cocktail of the day, which was a mix of prosecco, watermelon, and sirop with a lot off ice. Rather small drink and unimpressive for chf 18!
We started with a mixed salad, which was nice and fresh, but which needed a bit more sauce. For the main course, we selected a risotto dish, their aubergine dish, and a margaritha pizza.
The aubergine dish tasted well, but despite being a larger portion, it was still a bit too small fir a main course.
The risotto in a tomato cream sauce was quite rich and was tastewise, not what we expected. We had hoped for having some traces of real tomatos.
The margaritha pizza had a nice thin crust and tasted good. The pizza was brought to our table lukewarm. After complaining, the pizza was reheated in their oven.
We also ordered their tiramisu but were not impressed.
When setting the bill, the waiter tried to invite me to indicate on the credit card machine the tip that i wanted to give, 5, 10, or 15% on top of the bill. This is despite that the menu states clearly that tva and services are included! I had no problem giving a cash tip, but this was pushing...
Read morewe had a very nice and cheerful meal with my friends and our kids. we paid and were on the way to go out of the restaurant. Unfortunately my 6 years old daughter saw the lollypops and asked me to take one from a jar which was placed on a shelf. I thought that they put them there for kids and I opened ithe jar for giving one to my daughter. One waiter saw us, came and told me that I cannot take them without asking their permission. I said ok I can pay but he said no they are not for sale and he gave 2 instead of 1 to my daugther (I don’t know why) whitout looking at my face and left. Then I asked for another waiter to come, explained and said come on it’s just a small lollypop that my kid was asking for, if it’s not for self serviice don’t put it in a place that kids can see easyly and parents can take. He said that there are lots of wine bottles around but nobody takes them, an explanation which puts me in a position that I am a thief but for me it is non sense. For being honest it’s a nice restaurant, we needed one like that in PLO and their food are good in general ( I have tried 4-5 of them at least, pas mal) but since the beginimg I had some question marks with their attitudes and this last one for a lollypop was far too much. I was hoping to try their brunch but after this last experience, I had with their staff, I beleive I will stay away from this place...
Read moreSpent over 3 hours for dinner for the Pizza à volonté on Sunday evening. Took over 30mins for us to get the first slice of pizza, then took 10-15mins to get each other slice. It felt slow really slow.
Some of the pizzas didn't taste very good. The parma ham was so chewy I had to spit it out. The aubergine was undercooked so hard and sour. The tuna didn't taste nice. The pizza balls with nutella were chewy.
The quality of the pizza base is good, but the pizza toppings need some work. The place is beautiful and parking is easy. They have a lot of potential. The pizza margherita was our favourite pizza...il fuoco in bocca is also good but the sauce ruins it.
We'll keep an eye on the menu to see if they come up with new pizzas, but we won't be back until...
