We stayed in the local area at the Alpina Boutique Hotel and the gentleman we checked in with recommended this place for a nice dinner and drinks. The first night, we didn’t have any reservations but they worked out seating for us with some bar seats along the wall counter until a table opened up. The in house brewed beers were excellent! We tried a flight to sample several of their homebrewed beers: a traditional lager style, wheat beer with a hint of bananas and clove, another wheat with hints of orange and a dark smooth stout. All were excellent!! During the course of the night our group enjoyed a few more beers with our meals. All were exceptional! The staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcomed and at home despite our being out of town folks. Our food was incredible!! The pizzas were delicious. Excellent crust and taste! Small winter salad was very fresh and tasty. The rib plate was delicious with a very unique spin on the flavor with the touch of Thai spices. Everything was so good that we made reservations at the end of our meal and returned again the following evening. Again, everything was perfect. The beers were great and the food was exceptional. The staff treated us like we were already locals. This place has an amazing atmosphere, wonderful staff and impeccable food!! Definitely will come back if I ever get back...

This place is so amazing that even though we were only in the area for 2 days we came here for dinner both nights. The beer is AMAZING!!! So flavorful and rich! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun but relaxing at the same time. And on top of all of that, the service is unbelievable! I honestly can’t tell you the last time I felt so welcomed in any business. The owners are so extremely friendly and the only thing I kept thinking the entire time was that it just felt like home! Ich habe am Vorabend persönlich einen Tisch für 2Personen reserviert weil wir bewusst nicht an die Bar oder den Stammtisch sitzen wollten ( wir kennen das Lokal und die Gegebenheiten bereits). Als wir kamen war kein Tisch reserviert und wir wurden auf 2 Barhocker in der Nähe der Küche verwiesen und erhielten zur Antwort, wir müssten warten u sollten einen Apero nehmen. Ich äusserte meine Enttäuschung. Wir warteten, schliesslich wurde der Stammtisch u ein 2 er Tisch frei. Als ich zum kleinen Tisch wollte hiess es, der Tisch werde für 6 Personen, die reserviert hätten, gebraucht. Wir könnten an den Stammtisch. Das war zu viel des Guten.!Wir sind schon öfter vorbeigekommen, auch mit vielen Feriengästen, die eine Ferienwohnung bei uns im Ferienhaus in Ringgenberg mieten. Nach einer solchen Bedienung sehe ich künftig von weiteren Besuchen ab. Ein solches Verhalten ist mehr als enttäuschend. Wir haben das Lokal dann auch verlassen u sind ins Rest. Burgseeli, wo man uns extra einen Tisch parat gemacht hat u wir den Abend bei köstlichem Essen u sehr freundlicher Bedienung beenden konnten.

Ihre Antwort zeigt gerade die fehlende Kundenorientierung. Wenn es so ist, dass Sie auf die kleinen Tische keine Reservation mit Zeitangabe machen können, dann sagen Sie das doch den Gästen offen und ehrlich und nehmen keine Reservationen entgegen.
