Restaurant Toriko Japanese Bar, Grill & Sushi — Restaurant in Saint-Sulpice

Since discovering this place around a year ago we go there regularly even though it requires a 15 minute drive for us to get there from home. The food is very good, sushi is fresh, drinks are okay. I like the variety of homemade ice teas with different flavours, I think they are a bit expensive for the size but are delicious. On some occasions when they are understaffed the service can get a little overwhelmed which slows down the process of ordering and getting the food quite a bit. Went here for the first time with two others. The drinks were good, the shrimp starter incredible and the various cuts of beef with the sauces were tasty. It was quite enjoyable until we found a fly in one of our sauces. All they did after we informed them is replace the sauce and give us a limonchelo each after I reminded them of what happened at the end of our dinner. They didn't replace the plates or offer anything else. I cannot ignore what happened. The 3 of us had ordered over 300chf of food. I will not be going back.

very disappointing place if you are used to real japanese food. the plate of wagyu i ordered was swimming in a cheap imitation of chinese sweet and sour sauce, not even japanese. the waiter didn't even understand "arigato" and when I asked for the sake he answered that he doesn't like it so he can't recommend it 😬 + they gave me the wrong glas and were arguing about it in front of me... sorry guys but if you'd only knew an inch of the japanese culture, you'd respect it. and last but not least,...
