Very poor customer service! Actually, let me rephrase: no customer service whatsoever. And I am not even exaggerating.
I would give it 1 star only but I want to stay true to myself plus it would not be fair for the following reasons: the interior design and decoration was beautifull with much attention to detail. The views outside the large windows honestly breathtaking!
Basically we paid for the view and the interior comforts without getting what we paid for. That's all we want to say, really.
We paid for afternoon cream tea, which looked very tasty Got wrong tea to start with: English Breakfast instead of Earl Grey. Which we totally understand can happen. It did not stop there - unfortunately. The scones were not baked through and were really pastey inside. The bill came BEFORE we had started to eat because seemingly there was a change in shift All fine, we thought. We paid and said we honestly thought the scones needed some more time in the oven. Swiftly the whole tray was taken away from us with untouched cream and not even tried lemon curd and 2 scones. Handsomely taken away by an unfriendly waitor with a "Thanks for the payement" and with a promise that new scones and all that comes with it will come our way soon...
In the meantime there were waitors frantically coming and going. It was like a bees nest.
Tic tac, tic tac...
A cumbersome 45 minutes later waiting time with different waitors exclaiming "Sorry, but it was not me who took the order!" we had about enough!!! It was ALL about THEM and not even close to be about the customer.
So we decided to leave the sinking ship. It was bedlam!
Resumée: WE PAID FOR SOMETHING WE DID NOT GET.
And that, dear sirs, is NOT...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing stay at Suvretta House. I chose this location after alot of research. We were traveling with our six year old so I wanted a very kid friendly place. From the snacks and stuffed animal in the room when we arrived to going the extra mile at dinner to make sure he was happy they went above and beyond. He did not stay at the kids club but we did drop by to check it out. It looked great, and the woman running it was very kind. Had we stayed longer we would have utilized this. A HUGE bonus that I was not expecting is that they have so many gluten free options. From a basket of gluten free bread (changing every day and the best I’ve ever had!) in the morning to many many gluten free options for dinner it was the best gluten free eating of our two week vacation! It is a very short way from town but they offer a shuttle bus every 30 minutes which is very easy and convenient. The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub with incredible views was a great way to pass the time (again, kid friendly). Can’t wait to go back next December as this will become surely a yearly...

Absolutely gorgeous. Attention to detail from the architecture, to the service, to the fresh flowers that graced the various floors.
Panoramic vistas on every level. An amazing spa, indoor/outdoor pool. They also house an art gallery in the lower level.
The breakfast was spectacular.
The service was the best I have ever experienced. Courteous and attentive. They offered us complimentary upgrades on our stay.
High ceiling rooms with updated bathrooms along with radiant heated floors.
Car service to and from the hotel.
We visited in the off season and enjoyed the summer experience.
They do have their own ski lifts and ski school. They also have an ice skating rink, kids playground, kids club and various sporting activities. There was a bicycle tour around the lake offered the morning we left along with pilates and other fitness classes.
I was just stopping by for one night on my way to a business meeting but would definitely bring my family here any...
