Coming from Dubai's incredible dining scene, I had high expectations for St. Moritz, and Restaurant Ecco absolutely delivered! Chef Rolf Fliegauf's modern European cuisine is pure artistry - the venison with juniper and local herbs was cooked to absolute perfection, and the presentation rivals anything I've experienced in Dubai's top hotels. The wine pairing featuring Swiss vintages I'd never heard of was a revelation - who knew Switzerland made wine this good? The service was flawlessly European - attentive but never intrusive. At 180 CHF for the tasting menu, it's expensive even by my Dubai standards, but the quality justifies every franc. I am floored by this place. I have celiacs + am allergic to lactose, sesame, celery, cucumber, cauliflower, cabbage and spinach. This is the only restaurant out of THOUSANDS that responded to my list of allergies with - ‘pick anything on the menu and we will adjust.’ I was totally shocked, it’s even less likely that it could happen at a restaurant of this caliber. I do not recommend this restaurant ! We booked a table . Went to Google map says - the restaurant is not working ! Dialed the restaurant - no one picked up the phone! Of course we were afraid to go there if it does not work. In the evening they withdrew money from the card without warning. They had our phone number - no one was interested in why we were not there? Please change the days of your work on the Google tag so that people can get to you for sure! At least they would ask if something happened to you, that you...
