This place is a true hidden gem, although it has a very strong reputation in town to deliver very good products at good prices. You wouldnât guess what a nice terrace can be found beyond the trees. The atmosphere is very magical and serene and I had a great cozy evening with my partner. For a start, the strawberry basil gazpacho was really refreshing. For my taste, not too sweet - however it does tend to be sweet. Every plate we had had a great presentation, and portions were amazing. My partner loved the warm bread he received with his fois gras as an appetizer. I liked my veal, although I would have preferred a less strong dried tomatoes taste in the sauce. The risotto had a great consistency, perhaps slightly too buttery. I didnât taste the basil. The tartare of my partner was great, and so were the fries. As a final step we took a sorbet valaisanne and the portion was great to be shared between two. Prices are fair for products which are local. The staff was very friendly and luckily for me who I donât speak French, at least one person was speaking Italian too. We didnât have to wait too much, I feel that the staff was properly trained.
