Alte Schmitte — Restaurant in Steffisburg

Food is good especially those pastries ! I’m not sure what they are called but I absolutely loved them 😍. Not for sharing, get your own and treat your taste buds.

For me this was a bit of a surprise in a sleepy village like Steffisburg. It really was an old forge or a blacksmith's workshop, and some of the equipment is still there. Wir waren zum Brunch in der alten Schmitte und wirklich sehr begeistert! Man muss unbedingt frühzeitig (mehrere Wochen im Voraus) reservieren, um einen Tisch zu bekommen. Es gibt zwei Brunch-Zeiten die zur Auswahl stehen. Das Personal war super freundlich und hat sich gerne Zeit genommen, uns bei der Auswahl zu beraten. Auch die Speisen waren super gut und insbesondere das Brunch-Plättli à discretion, bei dem stehts nachbestellt werden kann, war sehr vielseitig. Der Kaffee, welcher direkt vor Ort geröstet wird schmeckte hervorragend und wir haben uns gleich ein par Bohnen für Zuhause mitgenommen.
