The room was small and furniture a bit outdated, but all very clean and the little bathroom well renovated and everything fully functional. The hotel itself situated next to a main road and in addition church bells not very far away. Noise sensitive guests are advised to keep the windows closed at night and to use earplugs. But more annoying than that was the presence of a group of young men who occupied the other rooms. Already in the afternoon there was constant noise from those guests, screaming, and smashing of doors. When the landlady was made aware of that it was mentioned that those guests would leave anyway later the day. As a matter of fact this was not the case and the noise continued during the night. The landlady obviously did not care about that at all, was not willing to step in. Apparently no willingness to be selective with the guests which are to be taken or the mere necessity to take anyone. Either way: An absolute desaster. Complaint in the morning could only be made to the trainee who was responsible to serve breakfast, but clearly not the correct addressee since it was not her fault . No feedback from the management though they had my mail address. Either the complaint was not passed on or was just ignored. Again: Inacceptable.||Regarding the restaurant: In the evening enjoyed good food on a nice terrace, service was good, value for money ok.||Summary: Even assuming the special situation with the noisy guests in the other rooms might have been an exception, the room was too expensive for this location (mainroad / church bells). Would not choose that place again for sleeping. Restaurant can be...

The Gasthaus is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. ||We would stay...
