!!Update Ristorante Pizzeria Luna has threatened me with legal action as my review on the poising was not accurate... I will amend here!!
Update: I ordered Gluten free pasta but to "Lunas" own email written admission they served me normal pasta, given that I have Celiac disease this has the same effect as food poisoning. As I pointed out to Luna, a restaurant not following an allergy suffers instructions can lead to extremely serious situations. My 4-5hrs of vomiting could be considered lucky!. I received my 100CHF back and an apology, likely the legal minimum but does not seem fair for what I had to go through, celebration turned into nightmare and still recovering to 100%.
I received FOOD POISING (caused by not being served the Gluten free meal I ordered) , after contacting them 2x by phone, one visit to restaurant and a email the only response was that this can happen with the sea food I ordered (The sea food is unlikely the cause as they admit to serving me Gluten). They seem to not be taking this very seriously and I am being ignored (Update they did respond the next day admitting serving a meal I had an allergy against). I have been a regular customer for some 10 years and this is how they deal with my complaint that would have been a silent one if I was not ignored... not even an acknowledgment to my email (Update they did respond the next day admitting serving a meal I had an allergy against). 4-5hrs of extremely painful vomiting, one sleepless night = 100CHF = Value...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe came to this restaurant for dinner a family of 10, we had high expectations due to the review ratings on Google, but were disappointed with our experience. After ordering the food we were informed the food will arrive in 10 mins and took over 40 mins.
The most disappointing thing was there so many flies on our table and over the food, we spent most of our time pushing the flies away. This caused great discomfort to all of us.
We were seated inside the restaurant and next to the door that separated our door area and there were strong winds coming in, I had explained this to the waitir and he refused to close the sliding door and neither offered to relocate us. The children were also feeling cold.
The pizza was nice and everyone had enjoyed but the pasta was undercooked and no one had liked and left it.
We were also given tap water on our table thinking it was a gesture a normal practice by restaurants but then later realised we had been charged £30 for the water.
I also found the staff quite rude, when I had requested the bill I had waited over 10 mins then had to request it again and got attitude from the waiter.
Overall a disappointment experience to say the least and after spending £260.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and neither would I would return as...

Waiters did not greet/acknowledge us and we had to wave and say hello to get their attention. When I asked for takeaway, the manager (Tall white male with black/brown hair) shrugged and said very rudely: "Do you know what you want? Look at the menu outside." Did not even offer a menu - why did i have to walk out of the restaurant to look at their menu??
When I made payment, the manager threw the receipt on the counter and expected me to pick it up. I did not. So he had to disgruntledly hand it over to me.
Decided to patronise because of the high reviews but food was subpar for the price - see pictures.
Even while we were waiting for the pizza in the restaurant, the manager looked very unhappy and was staring at us.
Don't quite understand how we are judged from the minute we entered the store, to even after making an order.
Sad that this is still happening in 2022, especially in such a beautiful country like Switzerland. No wonder people say that it is humans who turn the world ugly.
Looked up other poor reviews of this restaurant and sadly, this is not the first time they give poor service, typically...
