From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and gracious welcome that immediately made us feel valued and well cared for. My partner and I thoroughly appreciated the vibrant yet inviting ambiance, which complemented the exceptional quality of the service throughout our visit.

The staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism—attentive without being intrusive, consistently courteous, and genuinely eager to ensure our experience was enjoyable. In particular, our waiter stood out for his thoughtful menu recommendations, which were delivered with confidence, clarity, and a touch of good humor that added to the overall pleasantness of the evening.

This was in recent memory, the most striking “don’t judge a book by its cover” restaurant experience. Do not let the unpretentious decor and staff sway you from opening the rather focused menu and ordering anything off of it.

We ordered the escargot appetizer as well as the Thai sampler starter, which were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.

The perch was cooked to perfection, and having a soft spot for perfectly executed pommes frites, I was in heaven.

Service is very helpful and highly attentive, and the presentation of the food items was exceptional. We only wish we had enough room to try some of the lovely desserts they offer.

I had the pleasure of dining at Le Ranch yesterday, and I can confidently say that their frog legs are the best I have ever had—truly exceptional! Since moving to New York, every visit back to Switzerland turns into a quest to find great frog legs, and after trying numerous places, we have finally found THE spot. From now on, Le Ranch will be our go-to every time we visit—it's worth the trip, literally!
