Sam and chira were so nice we came in for a coffee during a heavy down poor and Chira asked us to come in from the porch inside as the rain was coming in on us the coffee was perfect and a great price. Chira was very freindly and introduced me to Sam I told him I was from Ireland and liked whiskey and I tried the single malt scotch whisky 61.5 % with no ice as i didnt want to dilute any of the flavours it was smooth, Sweet, floral with a hit of a nut and spice after taste 10/10 highly...

O’my bar is a hidden gem! We were pleasantly surprised to find this incredible whisky bar in Chiayi.

Sam, the owner and bartender, was knowledgeable and friendly. He made us feel right at home by showing us his excellent collection of IB scotch. We had several great drams the first night and came back the next evening to try more interesting bottles.

【酒吧老實說-嘉義O’my bar】 嘉義位於台灣南部，屬於農業+漁業+觀光大縣，有著嘉義酒廠、阿里山、曾文水庫、梅山36彎...等地方。 較為純樸的生活型態在晚上的夜生活只剩下嘉義市比較有酒吧可以跑!有著「嘉義酒鬼綠洲」之稱的酒吧就是今天的主角【O’my bar】 這家位於嘉義市國華街的尾端(目前在施工，這邊就是路底了)。外觀看起來小小的，裡面出乎意料的大(咦?這是在形容老闆嗎?) 這裡可是名副其實的「一人酒吧」，由主理人sam哥挑起整家店面的餐+酒+雜事。這家店在開的時候，Sam哥對酒可是完全不懂，嘉義市也沒有喝單杯酒吧的習慣，甚至是價格很便宜的普飲款 從什麼都不懂，變成什麼都懂的酒吧，你能想到需要多努力去學習經營，雖然老闆忙起來臉會很臭，但檔不住他的帥氣，他憂鬱的眼神有如國產零零漆裡面的豬肉攤那樣的傷感卻帶著魅力 我到裡面喝的時候竟然來的客人都是從大學讀書開始喝酒，到出社會生小孩之後還持續在這邊喝，可見他對當地市場深耕有多深!幾乎是沒了這家酒吧，嘉義你就很難喝到這麼多專業的威士忌了 那裏面會有多忙呢?我曾經看著老闆自己搖著調酒，左手一路搖著進廚房，右手在晃炸物籃，嘴巴念著電話不要再響了沒空!然後邊笑臉(很僵硬)招呼著進來的每一位酒客 裡面空間相當大，甚至還有雪茄室。SAM哥走的路線是【專業單杯威士忌】【專業調酒】【專業雪茄】【平價飲食】這四種結構而成，威士忌幾乎都是IB居多(大概佔80%)，因為雪茄部分我真的是菜雞，所以我就不提了。調酒也相當有趣，下酒菜非常好吃。 這裡賣點則是可以細細品嘗每一杯威士忌，而且只要你健談有禮貌，每一瓶酒老闆都能跟你說故事，真的是這家店【我有酒也有故事】(你有馬子嗎?) 我只能說這家店的核心精神就是在主理人SAM哥身上，個人魅力相當高，不是那種耀眼閃著光芒的，而是讓你感覺到溫暖貼心可以放心的把那個打開給他讓你舒服的感覺 但店裡面只有一個人在服務，所以你想聽故事可以做吧檯，你想安安靜靜喝一杯酒可以坐卡座，如果想要熱鬧裡面還有包廂，算是應有盡有的一家多功能酒吧! 也有不定期辦很專業威士忌品酒會，他也是我們「國際消毒水友善酒吧」，凡是任何社員進去消費滿低消，出示消毒水社團FB加入證明，都可以嘗試社團2號包桶的風味 如果你住在嘉義不知道哪裡有質感好舒服的酒吧，那就來這邊吧!如果你去嘉義玩~也不要放過這家有趣的綠洲喔! #嘉義酒吧 #OMYBAR #M8喝酒老實說 #18歲以下請勿飲酒 #酒後請勿開車騎車
