慶昇小館 — Restaurant in Chiayi

Harnessing the natural umami from its ingredients, 慶昇小館 has managed to take regular fried rice and transform it into something totally mind-blowing. Their 沙茶豬肉炒飯 (NT60) and 牛肉燴飯 (NT80) strike the perfect balance of flavours, textures and has a prominent note of 鍋氣 (or what we Singaporeans call wok hei).

I appreciated how the scrambled eggs were embedded evenly in the rice allowing every bite to fill your mouth with generous eggy bits. Aside from the masterfully prepared fried rice, the chunky slices of pork and crisp morning glory vegetables were pretty darn...

Good place for a quick meal before catching a train from Chiayi station!

My dad enjoyed the seafood soup noodles which was full of seafood and fresh noodles (although we intended to get the dry version which looked even yummier... so don't make the same "mistake" we made by not reading the menu closely!).

The shrimp fried rice was very yummy and the taste of wok hei was obvious from the first bite. We also ordered the siracha pork fried rice which didn't really suit our taste buds (thought it was a bit too salty).

今天介紹的也是嘉義名店 有得過冠軍炒飯的 #慶昇小館 很多節目都有報導過 不管平日或假日生意都很好🤣 東西種類也蠻多 有炒飯、燴飯、麵類、小菜等等

#沙茶豬肉炒飯 這是我最常吃也是最愛的😍 炒飯香氣非常夠 有濃濃的沙茶香 它的炒飯不會太濕也不會太乾 剛好介於中間 很好入口！ 不像有些太追求粒粒分明 吃到會胃痛😅 喜歡重口味的人 一定會喜歡這款的～

它的燴飯也非常好吃 裡面有空心菜以及高麗菜 增加整體清脆的口感 口味也是沙茶去調的 香氣十足

#什錦湯麵 這款也是我常吃的～ 裡面料非常豐富 有蛤蜊、蝦子、花枝、肉絲、丸子、凍豆腐 湯頭也是用沙茶湯底 味道很夠
