Sweet little Italian restaurant located in a quiet neighborhood a short walk away from the main attractions in Jincheng. Fresh & good quality ingredients + excellent cooking = Amazing food! We agreed that it’s one of the best Italian food we have in Taiwan. Even compared to the Taiwan’s main island (a lot of the Italian restaurants in Taiwan seem like serving a rather bland or soggy and sweeter dish - even when they’re supposed to be salty! So this restaurant is a blessing! Caesar Salad 凱撒沙拉 (NT240) is perfectly seasoned, creamy and cheesy! Italian Meatballs Stew 燉義大利肉丸 (N280) is meaty and packed with packed with flavor! It’s simply just so good that we ended up ordering a side Baguette 法國麵包 🥖 (NT50) Sardegna Pizza 薩丁尼亞披薩 (NT280) is simple yet complex in flavor! Such a mouth watering dish! With a perfect dough, well combined ingredients and generous seasoning! Food was just so so good that we couldn’t resist but have to order their two desserts - even though we’re already full (Tiramisu 提拉米蘇 NT160 & Rosemary Panna Cotta with Jam 迷迭香奶酪佐手工果醬 NT80) and they’re just on par with their food! Big plus that they have really good coffee too.. So after dinner espresso is very much appreciated! We’re quite upset that we dined here on our last night in Kinmen and due to leave the next afternoon! Else we’d be back here for dinner the next day! And now we might have to plan for another trip to Kinmen soon just to eat here again😊 Good service and reasonable pricing. They even have a mini grocery store too! Reservation is recommended since they have very limited table (5 tables if we remember it right), they have a semi private room with bigger table that can fit a group of 8 too. We dined here on Monday evening and we saw some people got turned away because the...
Read moreSuch a cute, cozy Italian spot hidden away in an old house down a laneway in Kinmen’s largest town. We really want to town and tried lots of menu items. Best of all, they had tons of vegan options for my husband and I, from marinara pizza to salad to a bread platter with quality olive oil and balsamic to dip it into. (The other guest, my mum, loved their meat options.) We also loved the Italian beer selection. A must visit if you’re looking for something a bit...
Read moreMy vote for best pizza in Taiwan after my previous favorite - Deer Pizza - closed down. Yes, this place in Kinmen makes better pizza than all of the pizza places I've had in Taipei. The other items I had - Italian meatballs, bread and tiramisu - were also great.
My only suggestion would be to turn down or turn off the music, or at least to change the music to something more relaxing. It doesn't fit the environment and ambiance of the main room, which is...
