Very disappointing! How did they receive eight thousand plus reviews? It's sure a puzzle to me. Everyone has their own experience to make a conclusion. I, maybe, am critical and meticulous in my taste buds, but what I read in its reviews was such a drastic difference to my experience. First of all, the dim sum is mediocre. Service? Here lies the major debacle that tainted my report card on them. The waiting time between our first dim sum dish and second dish was "30 minutes", yes 30, not 3. By the time our 3rd dish came, we cleaned out the first two dishes already. This was our first ever such an encounter in any dim sum restaurant in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, China, EU, and the US. This restaurant has only round tables, fittingly to seat from 6 to 12 customers. The server came and dropped our order on the edge of our round table, so we had to reach and retreat it to the center or close to us. We had to raise our hands up for a long time or waved hard to get attention while they were busy doing something. I asked a server why our food came so slow, not like other dim sum places, that you could almost have every order at your table within minutes to start enjoying. Well, she replied, "Oh, because we are busy." What? Restaurant business is supposedly busy, not chaotic. Otherwise, it'll be out of business soon. Servers and cooks supposedly are trained to operate smoothly in busy environments, whether it's in the kitchen or around the dining room. I used to work in a coffee shop during my school years. There are no excuses, whatever. There is one worth of mentioning here about this place. Pictured are the vegetarian fried teriyaki noodles, mushroom and loofah gourd rolls, "three cup sauce" tofu, and fried sesame red bean balls along with their photos from the menu. The mushroom/loofah gourd rolls were alright and the tofu was pretty decent with the noodles being the biggest disappointment. The noodles themselves were soggy, almost dripping wet, and the flavor was rather poor. Came with lots of mushrooms. The sesame balls were tasty but nothing special. 7 or 8 of 25-30 tables were filled (presumably all with hotel guests) and the servers were attentive. The total meal came out to $700 twd or around $23 usd. As we got non of their meat dishes nor the duck which appears to be their specialty, it's possible that their other food is better. Read more我們是父親節前的假日來吃飲茶的,有事先訂位。 我把這次評論調列為四大部分,分別是餐點的優點+缺點,以及服務方面的優點跟缺點。 先說結論,我覺得要再來吃第二次是可以的,但是真的要有心理準備,某些方面會讓人有點小生氣。來,開始正式進入評論,看看究竟是怎麼回事: (一)服務的「優點」: 用餐的場地裡服務生安排的非常充足,所以很容易叫到服務生不會喊半天,這一點值得嘉許。人員的態度也算有理客氣,對話起來相當舒服~ 這些優點希望能保持下去。
(二)服務的「缺點」: 這是最主要會讓人生氣的點了,有好幾個,我娓娓道來,雖說是服務的缺點拉,但是我認為這更傾向是你們流程的缺陷,其實服務生都在幫你們COVER這些缺陷,我是強烈建議要改進。
第一點,我們今天其實有少一樣菜,後來所幸有取消成功。我們為了等那樣菜,等到其他正餐已經全部都吃完,剩甜品了,那道菜還沒上來,更屌的是,就在十幾分鐘前還有服務員來確認過喔!他知道我們還缺一道菜,我們還有彼此CHECK過,結果,那道菜還是沒來~XDD 我不知道你們的內外場是不是有什麼溝通上的問題,後來因為那道菜並不適合單獨吃,就取消了。希望這部分下次真的可以再注意一點,這不是等十幾分鐘的事情,是我們已經把10幾道菜全部都吃完了,又等了好久,它還沒出現。很可惜,虧我還蠻期待那道菜的。
再來,比這更嚴重的第二個問題是點餐流程,朋友,我們吃的是飲茶,一叫就是10幾樣菜起跳,而且你還要我們一口氣叫完,因為加點只能加點一次,然後吃飯還有限時間,所以那個加點老實說也是很緊迫,同時還記得嗎?上面提到你們的出餐速度有機會很慢,甚至出不全,而這也是算在消費者的吃飯時間上,這幾個限制條件交相夾迫,你知道這會導致什麼問題嗎? 結果就是你不讓我們畫單(連筆都沒有),變成我們要自己拿紙筆出來,一口氣記下我們總共要吃哪10幾道菜,然後再等服務生過來,一樣一樣朗讀給他聽。點菜環節瞬間成了客人的記憶力大考驗~ 我很困惑,你們為什麼不讓客人自己畫單,然後請服務生點菜時,再和客人做二次確認就好? 你說如果今天不是飲茶,可能點的菜不超過10樣,那我們還好記。問題不是,飲茶的菜色多樣、瑣碎,這種點菜的方法真的很彆扭,那是因為我們有用手機跟紙筆來紀錄所以沒亂掉,但是剛開始還是反覆梳理了好一陣子。這一點我真的強烈建議要改進~ 而且,採用客人畫單服務生確認的方法,也可以加快點餐速度,何樂而不為?
還有第三,這個比較沒那麼嚴重,但很不貼心。那就是停車卡的問題~櫃臺應該在結帳的時候,就要問客人有沒有停車,需不需要消磁,而不是等客人都結完帳了,然後才發現停車卡沒消磁,又跑回來消磁。 這個相對來說是小事拉,但是,就連家樂福美食街的櫃臺都會記得要問客人有沒有停車了,我想這對你們來說應該不是難事才對。
以上是幾個我覺得一定要提出來,我也覺得你們的流程一定要改善的地方。
(三)餐點的「優點」: 呼,服務方面我們提完了,開始是餐點的部分。這部分比較沒問題,倒不如說還有在水準之上。 我們一共點了10幾樣的菜色左右,幾乎每一樣真的都很好吃,足見餐點是有一定實力的。 蘿蔔糕,外層脆,內部鬆軟,還有些微絲狀口感,讚。 蒸排骨也不錯,有入味,肉值軟嫩~ 烤鴨、脆皮燒肉等,那個該酥脆的都有烤到位。而且醬汁也有顧慮到解油膩的搭配,沾著吃,不會感覺到膩,非常好。 還有其他餐點部分,在味道方面,幾乎都是值得推薦的! 單就這一點,我還是會推薦東悅坊,畢竟餐點的美味程度是一個餐廳的命脈,而這部分有把持住,很好。
(四)餐點的「缺點」: 當然,餐點也不是0缺點的。我的口味不算刁,但是還是有一些小問題。其中一個最明顯的就是灌湯包,那個皮,真的蠻「水餃」的,我是建議有吃灌湯包的人,他的麵皮你一開始就要撈出來,不要一直泡在湯裡面。 因為他的湯一開始是好喝的,但是麵皮如果一直泡在裡面,最後那個湯的味道會變質,有點像水餃水的味道。 所以他的料好吃,湯本身也好,就那個皮可以改進,或是客人自己的吃法要改變,把皮先撈出來。 第二個就是脆皮燒肉跟烤鴨,我是說好吃沒錯,但有一點我感到很奇怪,就是,為什麼這兩樣都是冷的?不是溫溫的喔,是真的冷掉的,雖然味道沒什麼影響,也沒有說變油之類的,只是覺得有點違和,因為這種菜一般不是應該剛上桌都要是微熱或是溫溫的嗎?希望這部分你們可以調查瞭解一下。
結論: 綜合評論起來,我還是有可能再次光顧,畢竟核心的港式料理還是好吃的,至於行政流程的缺陷問題,我相信你們是可以改善的。 所...
