醉便宜(高雄延吉店) — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

Clean place, good service, food server patiently answered questions and requests, most of all was good food came with a reasonable check. Sure enough, the name of this place is "the cheapest", using a homonymic Chinese character in 醉 as the most. The menu is a mix of Chinese and Japanese foods. Fried chicken and pork chop are sort of a Bento (lunch box) set. I heard that their lunch boxes are popular for many office workers in the neighborhood. This restaurant' sitting capacity is considerably large and patrons are serious about eating only so they come and go pretty fast. Even if there is a waiting line out there, usually your wait time is short. There is a nearby park, within 300 meters of the restaurant, with ample underground garage parking spaces, so you don't need to drive half an hour around looking for the almost non-existed roadside parking bloc. Wonderful place to eat. Love most of our food. Fried chicken rice set and fried pork steak are great. Can't complain. Salad in all different kind are wonderful, too. Taro salad and fish egg salad are fantastic. However, the sushi we ordered are overcooked. Both the eel, beef, salmon....are all overcooked. When they burn the topping, it burns the rice and made the rice taste funny. Chowy and dry. I will probably order what threshold at, the rice set, and avoid the fancy sushi.

One last thing to add. The parking there is nightmares~ finding a parking spots during the lunch/dinner rush hour is impossible. Plan...

Restaurant and food are both clean and hygiene is good especially in this area of Kaohsiung. Healthy and not greasy. The chicken thigh rice is the best dish. Sashimi is decent but would be better off going to a Sushi train restaurant for sushi. Nice place to go if you like Japanese/Chinese food.
