This is my family’s go-to-restaurant whenever we have gatherings or need to entertain guests. The seafood is incredibly fresh and the cooking is traditional with a touch of creativity. The deco and the service evoke the old times. They’re a bit dated but non-pretentious: what you get is what you see. The wait staff may appear to be curt, but they usually soften up when I treat them with respect. I was so disappointed about my meal here. I ordered a seafood roll and a whole fish. The seafood roll was passable, though full of garlic chive and not enough seafood. The fish was terrible.
