I would like to point out the positives first: great ambience and good responsive service. Little spacious of most Indian restaurants we have visited in Taiwan. The portion size of the food is also good.
Next the negatives: The restaurant should not forget the fact that it’s a restaurant in the first place. The name “taste” is thrown out of the window since the first dish. We ordered pani poori, Briyani, Naan, kadai paneer, and lassi. The taste was, sorry to quote “horrendous” in all the dishes except the Naan. Lassi is basically a cup of thick sour yogurt with little salt and a pinch of jeera powder. I will definitely not recommend the food in Rawat.
