CHU CHU Cafe — Restaurant in Keelung

They really need to train for customer service. We came in because the reviews was great.

Well it was exciting at the beginning started from finding parking space. I will not suggest to park by the White lines near cafe unless you are riding biking , the space is not enough for cars. But we spot across the street by the oceanside there are about 10 public parking space without any fees I think, there are no sign. Remember, it was pouring rain. Roughly less than 15 guests in the middle and back area, Host seated us in the center where has air conditioning blowing straight at us. We were party of 4. Any normal days would be fine, except we were wet. Girls got cold, we asked if we can sit on the side ,also we have noticed the table for four is actually a lot of smaller than the table seating for 2. We asked if we could merge tables for more food spaces. There were no one in that section. Host reply, you are making us losing 2 seats. Hmm

Luckily ,guests by the corner left,we moved ourself to there. By the time we settle down and ready to place order. No one coming, there's no direction to go to front to order. Employee were just talking by the bar. Also,we only have one manu to share, had to ask for one more. Friend came back was upset. She's been told we have 70 mins to eat. Timer started the second we walked in the shop 20mins ago, Hmmm, I search up from reviews, there was no one brings this up. Host came back with utensils and her attitude, brught it up again when my friend was not around. By then, no one were not in mood to enjoy. At the end , we left before the new customer showed up but the guests before us were still there . Garlic toast was a joke. If not because the salmon spinach quiche was good, I would give them a 1 star. No ,I will...

Nice spot for a cuppa and desserts, loved the outdoor seating with a great view of the sea, had the tiramisu cake and it was so delicious! The rose tea is also a must if you want something to destress, overall a great place with a nice day/night ambience but would definitely have been nicer if it were quieter since the cafe is right next to the road. Good atmosphere, great food, friendly staff but they must know that not all customers like dogs too close when they are eating, although they are cute and friendly but do consoder that some customers do not wish dogs to get too close to them...
