Got the 金菠萝牛角 (melonpan), 咖啡牛角 (coffee), and 巧克力菠萝 (choc melonpan). The melonpan was so fugging good!! Love the texture, super crisp and flakey on the outside. It was still slightly warm when we bought it, which accentuated the buttery flavour. 10/10 👍 and went to buy two more. They get a little hard (especially the ‘horns’!) and less flakey when cooled, so might be good to pop them in the toaster for a min to warm them up :)
In contrast, the coffee one was a little boring in comparison since it didn’t have the flakey outer. Coffee taste was noticeable but it was quite one-note and lacking. Some butter/cheese stuffed inside would have made it more interesting.
