Bali Four Seasons — Restaurant in New Taipei

Overall, we disliked our experience. Would not come back again. Short summary: the view was outstanding, didn’t like the food, and service was AWFUL.

Maybe the style of the food was not to our taste, but I find that there were an overload of spices. It didn’t sit well with the stomach.

The service was another issue completely— the staff weren’t welcoming or nice. At the beginning, we had ordered a chocolate crepe cake, but it was one hour later, we finished everything else, and it still didn’t arrive.

We pressed the button to call the staff, and waited quite a few minutes for a server to come. Then, we asked her how much longer to wait for the cake, and she left to go ask.

15 minutes later, and she didn’t come back.

So we asked another server, and it was then that the other waitress came back. She said that they were JUST starting to make the cake.

It takes more than 1 hour to make a slice of cake? (Anyways, the cake did come)

The restaurant automatically charges an extra 10% of the whole meal for their service. This is totally fine, and a price we’re willing to pay, EXCEPT for the fact that the service was terrible.

Overall, would not recommend this restaurant other than for the view. I’m sure there are plenty of other restaurants that are...

Bali Four Seasons' location is fantastic... great view!!! Very relax when the weather is right!

Their restaurant is always beautifully decorated with Bali theme. We came here several times previously. Usually their food was pretty good, but this time their food was a bit cold and stale: the pork knuckle was tough and their mash potatoes were dry & stiff. Overall, my meal was not as good as they should. Maybe because it was a super windy day, our food turned cold really fast... Who knows...

When my friend asked for a medium-well steak, they could not accommodate. Their standard response was to cook it more ourselves using the heated iron plate! We share and swap food. So I got a small slice. but it was too rare for me to eat, and that iron plate did not do the trick nor cook my steak😣😣😣

Their waitress did stop by to inquiry about the food & service, but we had company so I did not yap...

good food and vibe 🤍, but the service is not very good. The servers were not attentive and service was slow even though most tables were empty when I went on a weekday.

Recommended dishes: The satay is delicious and the meat is very tender. 2. The ribs are flavorful, very tender, and delicious. 3. The thin crust tomato pesto pizza is light and delicious. 4. The mango smoothie is refreshing and a perfect drink/dessert for the summer.

The location is right next to the Bali old street and beach. A very beautiful spot for brunch or dinner. High recommend for your trip...
