This is a tourist trap in every way. You have to order and pay before they will seat you. So I ordered the tomato & cheese tacos which was actually a quesadilla with some chips, an Ice coffee latte and a chicken salad.

The interior of this place is completely cluttered and worn out. All kinds of styles trying to become one... it's kinda nice on the patio though but still a mix of different chairs and tables.

The "tacos" arrived just 5 minutes after I paid at the entrance. I doubt that they were freshly made... taste? blend and I guess this is why they serve it with a sauce.

The chicken salad was served with a plastic fork and damn, this was the saddest piece of salad in a bowl that I've ever tasted. The chicken, blend, the salad mix, blend and boring... no proper ingredients and made without any passion for feed.

Well at least they didn't screw up the coffee.

I paid over NT$ 800 for all of this which is such a rip off!

2 stars for the staff servicing me because they have to deal with all of this. 2 stars for the view on the patio but overall I can only recommend you to stay away from this restaurant that calls itself "le coq".

As an owner you must be out of your mind to try to give the impression that this has anything to do with french...

You walked in the party your coat was untied Slammin' the door 'cause it's colder outside I won't forget that moment like the blink of an eye You're off to the beach now till the weather gets nice

But what if I call And you pick up the phone And I use this holiday to make my way to your ghost Oh what if you're lonely And you know I am too And I get the chance to say Merry Christmas, I miss you I miss you

So I'll hang the lights up you'll see them from space And all that I want on my list is that look, on your face When I said November's early to be playing these songs Now when I look back I can see I was wrong

So what if I call And you pick up the phone And I use this holiday to make my way to your ghost Oh what if you're lonely And you know I am too And I get the chance to say Merry Christmas, I miss you I miss you

You know it's true Yeah, I miss you You know it's true

So what if I call And you pick up the phone And I use this holiday to make my way to your ghost Oh what if you're lonely And you know I am too And I get the chance to say Merry Christmas, I miss...

Another of the over-priced beachside restaurants on that end of the bay. The food is OK, but you can't sit down at a table and order, you have to traipse miles through the restaurant to stand in a shelter by the main road to read a menu, order and pay. Only then can you go take a seat. The food comes out fast and the portions were much bigger than the photos suggested. The mango smoothies were giant vessels of mango ice cream with an extra ice lolly, a far cry from a smoothie and ruined my kids' appetites! I saw soda water featured twice in photos in the menu, but was politely told I was not allowed to buy a bottle, only if part of some cocktail that I didn't want. The waitress bravely soldiered on through my objections. I only went there because...

Visited on a very hot sunny afternoon. You have to order outside first, then go inside, with a 90-minute seating time limit unless you order more after that. The view is great from the outdoor seating, but the food and drinks are underwhelming. They look appealing but don't deliver on taste. Especially the black sandwich; I was expecting a lot of eggs, but it was mostly filled with potatoes—overpriced for the portion. The drink was also disappointing, though the ice cream in it was the only saving grace. The food arrives pretty fast, but I do question its freshness. Better to spend time in the cafes nearby this one.

Cute little spot next to the waters on the north coast of Taiwan. We came here pretty much when it opened at 11am and by the time we left it was a packed house! I ordered the cheese, ham quesidilla which was kinda disappointing portion for 200nt and my friend ordered chicken strips which only was chicken strips and no fries. The drinks were the same price as the food. Id say the atmosphere and vibes were cool but food was a bit pricier. There is also a 3 hour max limit stay. Not sure if I'd come back.
