Dimsum Kitchen — Restaurant in Shilin District

Get there ON TIME like 10 minutes before your RSVP or they will definitely give your seat to the next party. We didn't know got there 20 minutes after our 11am RSVP (for two adults) and they gave our seat to somebody else so we had to sit with a complete stranger or wait two hours for a seat. We decided to dine with a stranger. Not awkward whatsoever.

I chose this place because its unique at least to me. Ive never been to an AYCE buffet style dim sum which means get whatever and how much you want. Food is really good extremely authentic and fresh because they handmake everything on the spot so dont burn yourself. Try everything its a must.

Dont come thinking you'll get crab, lobster whatever AYCE buffets offer though because they focus mainly on dimsum. Appreciate everything is handmade. At least they have ice cream. Cant go wrong with haagen dazs i love haagen dazs theres even AYCE beverages and a mini salad bar.

Not as good as expected since the place is always busy. Long wait time, good ambience, front service was good, food was ok to not really. Big hands up for the ice cream served was haagendasz! And a lot of variation of haagendasz. Food wasn't consistent, I tried all the dumplings and there was this dumplings that has 2 pieces in a tray, it was supposed to had egg in it since my brother had came to eat here before but I didn't get the egg inside in one of the dumpling and I also got the egg inside in another dumpling. I tried their fried rolls too but mine wasn't taste like curry & had a lot of fillings but my brother's was really bad + tasted like curry with flours. The herbal soup was really weird & bad too. The most okay foods was their pao, siomay, egg tart & fried dish that has meat inside i dunno what's the name. And to get the salted egg pao, you need to queue fast and can only get 2 mini pao 🫠 Overall I won't come here again if they don't serve haagendasz for...
