Siam More Tianmu Branch — Restaurant in Shilin District

Our family of 6 ended up ordering nearly 10 dishes, and they were all great. The soft-shell crab curry was a standout. They even have vegetarian options. The tofu green curry was not as heavy as I expected. Their curries tended toward the sweeter side, not much spiciness. Even the kid’s fried rice was good (greasy though).

The highlight of this meal was the service though. From the very beginning the hostess were very accommodating to my sister and her children. She got us a booth where the kids would be out of the way but also big enough to fit a stroller. She let my nephew try to sit at the booth to see if he would be comfortable eating there. Not sure how this place has so many 5 star ratings. Must be because they gave them a free food item as mentioned by other reviewers. The other customers must also not have eaten at 瓦城 before. String beans we ordered were drenched in oil with no flavor-over spiced. Seafood salad was over cooked and not fresh. Green curry chicken had 4-5 pieces of chicken in it. Only thing halfway decent was the 蝦餅。
