桿式 水餃牛肉麵專門店 — Restaurant in Taichung

This is the BEST beef noodle soup place in Taichung. I had their soup more than once and every time they consistently deliver a soup bowl of goodness that is satisfying and delicious. The soup is a symphony of flavors. A bit spicy with fragrance vegetables (Chinese radish and carrot). The beef is tender and juicy. There are three options for the noodles, from thin to wide. This incredible soup is accompanied by three small plates of sea weed, kimchi, and black fungus. I also recommend the dumplings. In particular the basil dumplings and the kimchi dumpling are so yummy. The service is quick, and you are always feel welcome. I will come again (and again)...

· found a famous local beef noodle with handmade noodles

· ordered their value set thats 240 NTD as of April 2025 (take advantage of their lunch special set)

· free drink machine + all you can eat pickled mustard + chopped garlic bits on the side bar

· can choose thin or thick noodles (thick was yummy - recommend)

· beef noodle had carrot + large beef chunks + bok choy + green onions + a small radish

· noodles was chewy + delicious (but portion was small)

· soup tasted light + subtle sweet (lacking a deep flavor that makes you want to drink more)

tldr: worth a try but its considered...

I love beef noodle soup. On my first trip back to Taiwan in three years I had it at many places; this place was best. Broth was just right, not oily or salty, beef tender. The 牛肉捲餅 was outstanding, light, has some salad inside which makes a big difference. Again not heavy or greasy. Tip: For more meat, pay to add more meat to your noodle soup....
