The food is great but the service ruins everything.
The older woman that looked like the manager isn’t nice at all. During our meal we heard her scold the other employees, which made it very awkward. She was talking with a not very low tone, and we felt very bad for the people that were getting told off. I understand that she was upset about something they did/didn’t do, and that the place was small, but calling out your employees in front of the whole restaurant is just rude and unprofessional.
Also, when i was done with my meal and she was collecting the plates, i pushed mine so it would be easier for her to reach. Instead, she looked at me and scoffed, expecting me to hand her the plate. I’m sorry but if you’d like for me to hand you the plate, you can just ask, that isn’t the problem. The problem is that you scoffed at me and rolled your eyes at me as if it was my fault to not hand you the plate.
The ac wasn’t on until more people came in. I don’t really understand why though, if you already have people eating, why don’t turn on the ac?
The food was absolutely great, very tasty and true to the pictures in the menu. The only thing is that it took a while to come out.
I’d suggest to include a straw if your clients ask for...

This place just doesn’t seem to get the whole point of brunch. I ordered French toast and a tiny cup of 3 drops of maple syrup came with jt. There was not ketchup, mustard, black peppers, and tobaccos in insight. While I was trying to get attention from the servers they were all too busy to do anything.
As someone who lived into the US for 20+ years, let me share that brunch is supposed to represent comfort food - not a place where I have to find out where the restaurant hides the ketchup and peppers and the servers have to go to the back room to get that one ketchup the whole restaurant shares.
I mean this place has a service charge of 10% so with the same price I would go to many other choices in Taichung. Taichung got really amazing brunch places.
For burgers I think this place...
Read moreOrdered one of the most expensive items on the menu, the duck breast, which the menu said was cooked medium (beside a photo of the dish showing lovely pink meat) but which showed up well done and gray. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he smiled and offered me a free dessert. I got a NT$100 discount after my dinner companion complained as well (in Chinese), plus a voucher for a free appetizer which I never intend to use since I don't plan to eat there again. The one star is for the mushroom soup, which was the only good part of the meal. As for the rest, it was a complete...
